Castle San Giovanni in Bondone

Located on a high rocky promontory, the Castle of San Giovanni di Bondone dominates the entire valley and Lake Idro.
As with other castles in the Valle del Chiese, the military element prevails over the residential one. The castle can only be reached via a hiking trail that starts directly from the parking lot next to the campsite (approx. 30 minutes).

We also invite you to take a walk around Bondone, a village that can boast belonging to the prestigious "The most beautiful villages in Italy" club.

The Castle of San Giovanni can be visited for free from June to September every day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
